We’re pulling together material now for Issue 18. The theme of this issue will be Media. Though, if you’ve followed PA1N, then you know Media won’t be the only focus of the issue. We want your submissions. We really do. You make PA1N what it is, and we want your input, articles, photos, etc. Some ideas that we’re looking for, as relates to the theme: DIY media, blogs as news outlets, political punditry and how it skews politics, media ownership, media consolidation and why its bad, government’s influence on media, media’s influence on the government, the blurring of the lines between hollywood gossip and news, bias (both left wing and right wing) in the news media, the relevance of media in our mass-marketed over-media-exposed lives.

Those are just some ideas. Media isn’t our only focus, as you know. There are always many more events to write about across the continent, and as those events unfold, you can rest assured that PA1N will bring them to you. So fire up your favorite word processing application, get passionate, and write. Then send it to alienbinary (at) pa1n . org.
